What if the Balms Melt or Freeze?
While the ingredients may separate at extreme temperatures, it won’t compromise their effectiveness. Simply stir it up when it reaches a normal temperature and you’re good to go!
My Dog Struggles. Do You Have Tips for Applying the Balm?
While many dogs love having the balms massaged in, some just don’t like their paws or faces touched. Distracting your dog with a favorite toy or treat will help a lot. Applying while your dog is calm, often before bed will also make it easier.
What if My Dog Licks the Balm Off?
The balms absorb very quickly and there should still be plenty left to help your dog.
How Often Should I Apply the Balms?
Initially, apply 1 to 2 times a day until the problem has cleared. After that, 2 – 3 times weekly for maintenance. For paw protection before going outdoors, apply just before going out.

Will the Paw Balm Help Prevent Ice Balls on My Dog’s Paws?
Yes. In order to prevent ice balls from forming on your dog’s paws, work a generous amount of Paw Balm between the pads. On longer haired breeds, it helps to clip the hair on the paws even with the surface of the pads.
Will the Balms work on Hot Spots or Rough Elbows?
The Nose Balm works great on Hot Spots! The anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties that work so well on snouts help with Hot Spots as well. Either the Nose Balm or Paw Balm works great to moisturize and soothe rough and calloused elbows.

What is the difference between the Paw Balm and the Nose Balm?
The Paw Balm contains Candelilla and Carnauba waxes which are harder waxes and provide a protective shell for the paws. The nose balm contains more anti-inflammatory oils (Hemp Seed and Calendula) to heal noses, scrapes, and elbows. In a pinch, both balms are interchangeable.
Will the Balm Stain My Floors or Furniture?
You don’t have to use a lot and it absorbs quickly. If the balm has absorbed into your hands, it should have absorbed into your dog’s skin as well! You can use a soft cloth to wipe off any excess balm if you need to.
